Kentucky NRES

The Natural Resources and Environmental Science (NRES) degree started in July of 1994 as the Natural Resources and Conservation Management (NRCM) program. In Fall 2010, NRCM was changed to NRES. While the focus on natural resources remains, this name change reflects significant curriculum improvements and a renewed focus on communication with stakeholders, students, faculty, alumni, and employers.
