In Fall 2010, Natural Resources and Conservation Management was changed to Natural Resources and Environmental Science. While the focus on natural resources remains, this name change reflects significant curriculum improvements and a renewed focus on communicaiton with stakeholders -- students, faculty, alumni, and employers.
Students receive a well-rounded environmental curriculum and then focus their studies in two areas, a skills area (what you are going to do), and a systems area (what you are going to do it with). With so many options students graduate and go on to work in policy, in a lab, in the field, or with computers.
NRES graduates all have one common goal, to create a healthy and sustainable future for our planet!
