Professional Profile
Lynn Roche-Phillips is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography, College of Arts and Sciences. Her research focuses on land use, development and the political economy of urban and rural land use change. Prior to coming to the University of Kentucky in 2001, Lynn worked 17 years as a professional environmental planner, serving as a local planning director and civilian liaison land use planner for the US Marine Corps. She is the recipient of the 2018 Provost's Outstanding Teaching Award and the 2017 College of Arts and Sciences Outstanding Teaching Award.
